Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32518

Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
When I open a new tab (either with Ctrl-T or from the menu), my
intention is to visit a new page most of the time (and I believe this is
true for most users).

I'd like to be able to Ctrl-T, then just start typing my URL, or pasting
it from somewhere. But the URL field doesn't get the focus, and I need
to click on it or do a Ctrl-L.

Shouldn't the URL field automatically get the focus when opening a blank
tab ?

I'm using epiphany-browser 1.9.7-0ubuntu1 in Ubuntu dapper.
