Comment: Well mostly as Manu said it is somewhat inconsistent and it does not do what you expect. On the other hand sometimes it is very convenient to have both partitions unmounted at the same time. The reason I have two partitions on the stick is that I have one "secure", LUKS, partition that I only want to be mounted for the short period I am accessing my secure stuff.
