Thanks Martin,
This fixed the mount names but altered the naming conventions so they were
still incompatible with a default installation.
Plugging in a 4th Gen iPod (with a custom name) makes the mount:
/media/Funk's iPod/
A 5th Gen iPod (that must have it's data device named IPOD (in capitals) for
the firmware to boot correctly) is known as:
/media/IPOD
Instead of:
/media/ipod
But my Nokia mobile (6230i) works well now :)
