Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/33900

Affects: gnome-cups-manager (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
When adding a new printer in gnome-cups-manager, usability is impaired
by the fact that many printers have two entries. For example, my office
printer is a Ricoh Afficio 1075, and this appears twice (as Afficio
1075-PS and Afficio 1075-PXL). I believe these are separate drivers.

In Breezy, these two drivers were under a single heading, rather as
appearing as two separate printers. So there has been a regression since
then.

For the record, although this is probably for a separate bug, the PS
driver doesn't work properly, and prints a fair amount of gibberish
symbols. the PXL driver is the one which works. This wasn't a problem
with Breezy, because the PXL driver was recommended, but now that there
are two separate printer entries, it is a problem.
