Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/34347

Affects: gnome-netstatus (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
The signal strength bar that is used with wireless connections was recently
changed to a long horizontal bar and the colors that are used seem to be in
reverse. I would have thought this was upstream but the icon and appearance are
correct (but gnome themed) when the gnome theme is in use. I'll attach a screen
shot to demonstrate the problem.
==Problem==
As you can see the applet now takes up way too much horizontal space and
doesn't really add appreciably to justify it. Also, my signal strength is at
90% but the "stronger" color on the bar takes up only 25% and from the wrong
side. So im assuming that the colors have been reversed (unless this is
intentional). I also personally think the colors are a little strong but i
think that has to do with the theme package that was introduced this morning.
==Solution==
Upright the signal strength meter when displayed on top/bottom panel, and swap
the colors of the meter as well.
