Description:
I installed the xubuntu-desktop package after doing a clean install of
Dapper (gnome). I notice if I change the session type to Xfce, logout &
log back into gnome I recieve the error:
"I have detected a panel already running and will now exit"
at this point the gnome-panel & gnome-desktop do not load & I am forced
to ctrl-alt-backspace to exit. I must reboot in order to gain access to
gnome again.
