You have been subscribed to a public bug:

But Nautilus does not recognise these files and shows the icons as text and
opens a text editor.
Instead it should open TSC. I would prefere if it connected directly to the
remote desktop, instead of showing the editing window.
If a person should edit the rdp file with TSC, he should right click and click
"Edit Remote Desktop" or something like that.
