Hello Sebastian, As you may know, I accessed Add/Remove from xfce4 app finder. I have now moved the Add/Remove link in that application to the desktop, and it works just fine from there. The only problem is the Add/Remove link in Applications. But that problem is moot now since I access it from the desktop.
