** Description changed:

- Binary package hint: usplash
-
- I dunno if this is the right package to file the bug against but
- https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage says this is it. This is
- on gutsy gibbon 7.10 tribe 2 updates till today. usplash version is
- 0.5.2 if that helps . On with the bug , after booting up, at the login
- screen (most probably GDM login screen, anyway to make sure?) anyways,

Do you wish to make English (India) the default for future sessions.

You have chosen English (India) for this session, but your default
  session is System default

and get this 3 options :-

Just for this Session Cancel Make Default 3 choices.

Choosing Make Default sticks till you don't shutdown. You can logout &
login many a times without issues and the choice is retained . But once
you shutdown & restart or cold start then you are stuck with the same
  issue again.
