Newbee in Ubuntu (One month)..but Macintosh since 1985
Non english speaking person ..I apologise
Newly (non customised) install Ubuntu 7.04 from i 386 Alternat CD
CD check without error
Screem Version: 0.16.1-4ubuntu1 (screem)
I open just (ONCE ) Screem...I can save a projet file. After quitting Screem
after some ...seconds.
..I CANNOT open the project file...
When i launch Screem : I saw the logo of Screem...BUT never the window of Screem
..only my orange destop...never the window for file
I unistall with the Desktop tools...
I ré install Screem
SAME...Screem logo and NEVER the windows for file
I unistall Screen with Synaptic with care of the config file to go OUT
I re install Screem
SAME...Screem logo and never the window for file
I go to the log files..I saw nothing about Screem Syslog
...BUT with my very small experience..I think I see not at the right place
In fact : I discover pico .....only some days AGO
vi is too difficult for me
.AS YOU saw I am a very beginners in Linux
I hope I help you
..but I think I have made a GREAT BASIC mistake
Perhaps with some question
..and command line
