Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gedit

I changed the default color theme of gedit to a different one. After I closed
gedit and opened it again, it was opened with the default color theme. I tried
it a few more times and in all but one case it opened with the default color
theme.
Going to edit-->preferences-->Font & colors shows that the "Use default theme
colors" is unchecked. Checking and unchecking it again brings back my custom
theme.

** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
