Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35153

Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
When looking at the properties of a drive, some imformation about the drive
should be displayed. This is the current imformation displayed on Filesystem:
Type: desktop configuration file
While this is true, wouldn't filesystem type be more useful here?
Size:
Unknown
Couldn't the size of the filesystem be placed here?
Location
computer:///
Okay, what about mount point?
Mime Type
application/x-desktop
... not that helpful

Modified: unkonwn
Accessed: unknown

Instead of just being a standard desktop file, the preferences of drives should
be special, and provided information about the drive (size, device name, mount
point, file system type) and a button to open the disks manager.
It's too late for this for dapper, but should be a goal for dapper+1. Does
anyone else feel the same way about this?
I would be willing to code, but python is my language of proficiency. I don't
think GNOME will allow python code upstream.
