Thanks for your bug report.
(I am not sure to understand what you mean, so please give more details if I'm
wrong).
It doesn't seem to be an issue with brasero or thunar, but rather the default
behavior of the gtk2 file open dialog: you can see 'search' and 'recently
used', then a separator, then your home directory and (removables) drives,
another separator, and finally the gtk bookmarks.
On your screenshot, you are pointing a separator.
