Public bug reported: Well, I hope this is the right package since I observed this bug both in Rhythmbox and in Totem.
I'd like to listen to ogg-encoded web radio, but playback stops after a few minutes or even seconds. The player shows a re-buffering progress bar but doesn't resume playing. Additionally, the player cannot play any other file then but must be restarted. I _suppose_ this happens when the radio station transmits new metadata (song title, interpret). I am pretty confident that my internet connection is fast enough, and I don't believe either, that the server is streaming too slowly (happens with any mirror). How to reproduce: Go to http://www.kohina.com/ and pick any ogg "server/operator". Open the stream in Rhythmbox or Totem and wait (No, the sound is all right. Those are chip tunes, no line noise *g*) ** Affects: gst-plugins-good0.10 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ogg-encoded web radio stops https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133838 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gst-plugins-good0.10 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
