You have been subscribed to a public bug: Binary package hint: gnome-main-menu
Go to: System > Preferences > Main Menu On the left column (Menus), at bottom under System: - Click and hold Administration - Move it just a little, like if you were going to drag it somewhere, but only a few pixels and still within the left column, and then let go of it. Even if you move it back to where it was, it still disappears from that list and from the menu bar at the top of the screen. This may also be caused by moving it in the right column as well. Problem is fixable by the following solution: - Edit ~/.config/menus/settings.menu: - Delete the following section: <Move> <Old>Administration</Old> <New>Administration/Administration</New> </Move> Or deleting <Move>, </Move> and everything inside those tags (if it differs) Also see: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3209426 ** Affects: alacarte (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: Incomplete -- main menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133668 -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
