The fontsettings in System->Settings->Fonts should have a bit more
obvious way to open the folder, but I dont think the fonts folder should
be under Places..  Putting it there will only make it filled with other
stuff that fits there just aswell as fontsfolder.

When opening the fontsettings its not easy for a new user to know that
the fontsfolder is under "Details".  The main window seems like it
should be able to swallow an "install font" button which either opens
the font folder or opens a dialog which fed with fonts installes them to
the right folder.
