Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
First off this is my first time using Linux. I've only just installed
Ubuntu 2 weeks ago.
It worked fine so far. The only setting I changed was to 'Enable Desktop
Effects'. It still worked fine for 1 week.
Today however I selected a 2nd workspace when Updates were being downloaded and
the lower toolbar disappeared! I then changed the screen resolution (only god
know why!) and as I had previously clicked on 'enabled desktop effects' a week
ago I tried to unenable them. The Upper toolbar then disappeared!
I now don't know how to access the various programs on Ubuntu.
Many thanks for any assistance you can provide.
Regards,
Neil O'Connor
