I have this issue on 2 different systems. Both are fresh installs and up-to-date. One system is a server-install and ubuntu-desktop on top, the other is a plain Deskop CD install. On the desktop install machine the theme change worked, but the background colour is not correct (although set to black, it still shows that milky brown from the Human theme). The server install insist on using he Human theme, no matter what i set in the gdmsetup-applet.
