I can confirm the problem (using sun 1.6.0 jdk).
Eclipse is quite unusable on Gusty for me, it will crash within the first
minute of use.
Also note that running Eclipse 3.3 Europa downloaded from eclipse.org seems
much more stable. I couldn't make it crash until now, after about one hour of
use.
I didn't try 3.2 from eclipse.org, so I can't tell if 3.3 fixes a bug or the
problem is in the Ubuntu package.
