Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

By default compiz starts with ezoom active and a keybinding of SUPER+R
to zoom a window.

Switching to extra effects in gnome-appearance-properties Desktop
Effects tab stops ezoom functionality leaving just static zooming.

Steps to replicate:

sudo telinit 1
rm -Rf ~username/.gconf/apps/compiz
telinit 2

Test ezoom by pressing SUPER+R on a smallish window

Sytem -> Preferences -> Appearance -> Desktop Effects

Select "Extra Effects".

Test ezoom by pressing SUPER+R on a smallish window

Setting back to "Normal Effects" makes no difference. The compiz plugin
in use is "zoom" before and after.

** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
