Unlike most other keyboard shortcuts, the keyboard shortcut to bring up
the deskbar-applet is set in its preferences instead of in the Keyboard
Shortcuts control panel. There is a "search" keyboard shortcut in the
Keyboard Shortcuts control panel, but it brings up file search. In
addition, deskbar-applet uses an inferior user interface for setting the
shortcut, requiring the user to type in keystroke descriptions, rather
than simply typing the keystroke.
