Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
I've been running gutsy for a week now to help test, and this morning I did an
update that broke my synaptics touchpad.
I'm on a Compaq Presario 2100 that has a touchpad that supported left clicking,
right clicking, and horizontal scolling by default under feisty--and it worked
a few days ago in gutsy.
Now the right side of the touchpad that normally supports scrolling acts just
like the normal mouse area.
I checked /etc/X11/xorg.conf against one in my backup archive from shortly
after the upgrade a week ago, and the section involving the touchpad driver
hasn't changed.
Is there any additional info I can provide?
