Binary package hint: gedit
I just pasted some text into gedit that has very long lines.
the lines were wrapped (possibly because of some preference I set a long time
ago).
The start of each wrapped line had a + character.
When I selected all the text, the + characters were included, so pasting
the text elsewhere changed its contents (especially unhelpful with ssh
keys)
