 uname -a
Linux thor 2.6.22-11-generic #1 SMP Mon Sep 17 03:45:58 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

Last update installed a new kernel, but when I rebooted everything
crashed. I gave up clicking create crash report after about 20 prompts,
rebooted into previous kernel, apt-get update/upgrade, rebooted and all
crashed again. Rebooted into previous kernel again and now if I go into
panel properties and stop the panel from expanding, it moves to the
center of the screen. Screenshot at
http://www.aspir8or.com/screenshot.html

You will also see 2 icons for the same dvd in the player/burner.

I'm staying with the 2.6.22-11 kernel for the interim as I cannot use
the newer kernel at all.
