@ Pedro: I think gnome-panel doesn't "refresh" the icons fast enough, so I checked it this way: I changed to normal human-theme and did "killall gnome-panel" which caused gnome-panel to reload. Icons weren't blurry then. I changed back to brownlooks and did "killall gnome-panel" again. The icons are blurry again.
@ Sebastien: As I mentioned above, I still use the normal human-icons. I couldn't find the expression in gtkrc. If you want to check the theme, check my above posted link [0].
