You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Bug starts with feisty fawn.
Create a file on the desktop. Change the default icon for this file and the
place of the icon.
Update the content of the file.
When you save the file, the icon is reset to its original "image" and place.
It only does that with text file.
You can use links on the desktop as a way aroud.
But since gnome did not have this behaviour in edgy, i suppose it can be
corrected.
Or is it a feature ???
