Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdebase
In Gutsy, the package kdebase-bin installs 3 .desktop files into
/usr/share/applications that show up in Applications -> Others under
GNOME. These are: keyboard.desktop - keyboard_layout.desktop -
khotkeys.desktop
This is really annoying because it makes an additional entry appear and confuse
users with no use.
Often on GNOME, you need kdebase to be installed (eg to run Rosegarden or
KTouch...). But you don't need any KDE entries on your menu.
Is that kdebase fault or GNOME's? Please correct this trivial bug before
Gutsy is released.
