Public bug reported:
See upstream bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436192
Some Ogg Vorbis file have a cracking noise when played back with the
non-crossfading backend in rhythmbox 0.11.x.
Just defaulting on the crossfading isn't a solution either, as with this
one I experience other problems, such as Radio not working or two tracks
playing at the same time.
I would suggest downgrading Rhythmbox to the stable 0.10 series for
Gutsy.
