When I insert a DVD; totem starts and fails to play it (which is a
separate but) and it shows only a black screen (no error message). This
bug is about the lack of a good error message. If I start totem
separately and manually choose "open disc XYZ" in the movie menu of
totem then it complains about codec instead.
