Steps to reproduce: 1. cp /var/log/dmesg /tmp/dmesg 2. cp /var/log/dmesg /tmp/dmesg.1 3. open gnome-system-log and open /tmp/dmesg in the log view 4. change "Version" (to Archive 1) in combobox in lower right corner
