Today i attempt to capture the network comm of nautilus with tcpdump. I'm wondering that it does not even make a dns lookup while trying to open a ftp://... url. I could see no network communication. Other protocols like smb://... are working on the same system. Is ftp in nautilus 2.18.1 completely disabled?
