And as a footnote to everyone, from what I know:
"Fix Committed" means someone made the fix,
"Fix Released" means it's added to the source/package.

You shouldn't change the status unless you TRIED the fix, since you're alarming 
for no reason all the people involved/subscribed, in this case:
