I just saw a problem that looks very much the same, after upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy. Worked fine before.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ totem & [1] 9382 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ The program 'totem' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 42 error_code 8 request_code 141 minor_code 14) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) -- totem-xine crash on logo (workaround inside) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/35229 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
