Public bug reported:
1.xchat-gnome doesn't add the appropriate shortcut in the menu.
2. Adding to this, xchat doesn't run; when I run it from the terminal window, I
get this message as follows:
$ xchat-gnome
XChat CRITICAL *** default event text failed to build!
Aborted (core dumped)
