Pedro, thanks for your verification and response. My report is not a
comment. It is a bug that you can't remove the partition from the list.
There is an option listed in the places menu, and the user can't
mount/umount, read, or access this option. And you can't remove it. That
is a BUG.

The user can see the option, but can't do anything with it, it confuses
the user. And the administrator can't do anything about it because there
is no configuration, gconf key, anything that changes this behavior.

The expected behavior would be: * List only partitions that the user can 
mount/umount.
The behavior observed right now is: List all mounted partitions including ones 
inacessible to the user.

That difference between expected and observed behavior proves this is
not just a "difficulty I am facing". This is a legitimate bug instead
and should be treated as such. Please reconsider your analisis.

About your suggestion of using the support tracker, I did this already.
