Binary package hint: evolution

On a fresh install of Feisty 7.04* Evolution fails to start:

Before trying to start evolution for the first time I have installed a
number of 3rd party applications as well as the ATI 8.42.3 video driver.
Also I installed Feisty with /home existing before under other Ubuntu
versions, incluting Gutsy. The most suspect 3rd party software that
might be contributing to this might be a compiz related library
installed from this repository [http://ppa.launchpad.net/amaranth/ubuntu
feisty main] called sexy-python, maybe interfering with Glib-GObect in
some way. I dont know
