rafikid's trick worked for me too. i guess, that the error occured could be because of one of these two reasons:
1. i moved from one machine to another. no problem that far. but the "DEFAULT" or at least the last selected directory in which i saved a file (from mail attachment) didnt exist on the other machine! or 2. something happend to the list of mails i already downloaded. I let all emails on the server for about 50 days after downloading. Maybe the backup didnt include this list.
