Installing gimp 2.4.0 on Kubuntu 7.10 means you get no translation of
the Gimp menu's. Someone have forgotten to install the language files in
the repositories for this version of The Gimp. Also, compiling up Gimp
version 2.4.1 breaks due to an gcc error (no executable output) for the
standard installed gcc.
