You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Links made across drives fail to delete and produces an error: "Error "Not on
the same file system" while deleting "..."."
However, in terminal, the "rm link_name" works fine.
If possible, a dialog asking the user whether they wanted to delete the link or
the original folder (to the trash, of course) would make a much more user
friendly link deletion.
Apologies if this is a duplicate bug, or if it is submitted incorrectly.
