Hi,
Did you delete the .cache folder? The xfce4-session cache may still
contains evince.
Does the following command return something?
grep -i evince ~/.cache/sessions/xfce4-session-*
** Changed in: evince (Ubuntu)
Sourcepackagename: evince-gtk => evince
Status: Invalid => New
