I was using Ubuntu 7.04 on a thin client for that particular error. I just tried the same thing on Ubuntu 7.10 (desktop instalation) and found that.
1) The FTP was already in the quick-save/favorites list (That makes me happy) BUT 2) I still could not save to it directly (see screenshot). I'm getting this error: error access ftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED]:21 - Operation canceled I assure you I have access to this FTP (as an administrator) ** Attachment added: "Trying to save directly to FTP on Ubuntu 7.10" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10752547/ftp_oo_err3.png -- Cannot save file to FTP server (on desktop) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/174212 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for meta-gnome2 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
