Yes, that's still a problem in gutsy. I just tried. I've also discovered that the timezone configuration isn't displayed even though it's checked in the view menu.
This time, I did the following: 1) opened evolution and selected calendar view. 2) double-clicked on the top field in my day-view to create an all-day event. 3) that dialog doesn't show the timezone setting. In the View-menu, it's selected. 4) I unselected and selected the timezone setting in the view-menu. Now it's visible again. 5) I selected a time-zone from the world map. 6) wrote a short summary 7) saved. 8) double-clicked the new event. The time-zone setting is not visible, even though it's checked in the view-menu. 9) unselected and reselected the timezone setting in the view menu and had a look at it.
