How to reproduce:
1. Click System > Preferences > Appearance
2. Click Fonts
3. Under "Rendering" click Subpixel smoothing
4. Click Details...
5. Set Hinting to anything but Full
6. Close the dialog
All of the four radio buttons in "Rendering" will be set. Setting
Hinting back to Full will return them to normal.
