You have been subscribed to a public bug: The Gimp should have the ability to save the history of an edited file. This would let you reproduce a set of actions to get a desired output if you've forgotten how you've achieved an unsurprisingly desirable output. Also this would be helpful if software projects were sharing or proposing artwork. If this feature could not be fully integrated, then maybe a text output would be sufficient.
This nonexistant feature is mentioned here: http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/article/3-Click-Tut-How-To-Use-The-Gimp-quot-history-Brush-14545.html "The only limit of the “Undo” and of the “Undo (or History) Brush is that need a “image history” to use, so they could not work if the image was closed (Till now there is not option to save the history of the image within the image file )" ** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Feature request: save history https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178050 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gimp in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
