Ok, I need to correct myself: if I launch the new xcompmgr without parameters, it works, but if I launch xcompmgr -c, it freezes! What can I do to avoid that? However, this is not a big problem, because I use xcompmgr for running screenlets, even if some shadows would be cool ;)
