This is a minor annoyance, not actually a bug. I actually run my XFCE
session with hinting disabled. So I would see a login screen consistent
with my XFCE session. This way the user has a consistent experience. So
I feel it would be better if an option can be provided to enable or
disable hinting in the login screen.
