Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/36837
Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
Thumbnails cache of image files are not deleted if the source image is
deleted.
If you have 2 images and want to swap their names around, you run into a
very annoying bug.
If you rename image A to C, and rename image B to A. and then rename C to B
Nautilus will show image B with the thumbnail of image A, and image A with the
thumbnail of image B.
Since the cached thumbnails are not deleted, nautilus re-uses them and
thus screws up, perhaps when i rename an image, the cache for the no
longer exisiting image file should be deleted, or also renamed.
Refreshing nautilus, or going up and down the dir tree doesn't help.
