I'd like to add the reasoning behind this feature request: using Google
Apps (inc. gmail) is becoming a standard with startups, including my
own. The problem with GMail is that there's always a feeling of lost
privacy even though Google asserts that the data is indeed private.

We exchange a lot of private information via email and more often than
not we forget to encrypt our emails. Yes, there's the option of having
our own mail servers but email services are a commodity and there are
few advantages in doing it ourselves, namely avoiding having to manage
the infrastructure, backups, punching holes in firewalls, etc. etc. etc.
