I use Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon.
When I select System->Quit...->Log out, it kinda restarts the whole X
Window System.
It kicks you back to console, then starts it up again, and flickers the screen.
I think it would be better if it did it all smoother, without kicking you back
to the console, without all the screen flickering.
When you logout in Windows XP, it behaves much more nicely without kick
you back to console and start it all up again.
