If I go to change desktop background and try to add a new graphic file
as a desktop it will not accept the graphic. There is no error message,
the window just simply disappears. The only way to get a new background
is to open the graphic in firefox and then right click and select "Set
As Desktop Background", even when that is done the new graphic doesn't
show up in Appearance Preferences.
